After 56 yrs of being together my wife is in a care home, non verbal, does not know me. Like Jane I am left with a huge void in my life which family and friends cannot begin to fill. The only way I cope is by being on my own, being in company makes my return to an empty silent home unbearable, and why should other people have to endure my gloom.
