The Dementia Music and Social Club offers a safe and welcoming environment for people living with dementia and their carers to enjoy two hours of escapism. The club is a social gathering of people who are also experiencing the dementia journey. There is music, singing and dancing with a professional entertainer, quizzes and a singalong, refreshments and an all-round feeling of friendship and inclusion. Support and information are also available. This is a not-for-profit group run by a team of dedicated volunteers. Many of the volunteers also have personal experience of caring for, or supporting someone with dementia.


Who is this service for?

  • Anyone with a dementia diagnosis (no referral is required) accompanied by a carer, family member or friend for the duration of the session (as the club is unable to provide personal care)
