Chesterfield Care Group runs various day centres in the area, aiming to: reduce the isolation of older people who are unable to make use of other recreational facilities; enable older people to stay in their own homes for longer provide respite for carers to enable them to continue to care longer. Each day centre offers various age-appropriate stimulating activities, such as arts and crafts, gentle exercises, reminiscence therapy, themed weeks, and entertainment. A hot lunch is provided together with refreshments during the day. Transport may be available.

- Residents of Chesterfield and the surrounding areas
- Older people who are isolated and/or lonely, including people who have a diagnosis of a dementia and/or a physical disability
