The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Leicester Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Leicester Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at Abbey Park. Please note this area is paved. Find us using the postcode LE4 5AQ, alternatively enter learn.stared.supporter into the What3Words App.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2.5km route, which is a gentle stroll around Abbey Park and wheelchair accessible.

The longer 6.5km route will take you around Abbey Park before walking along the banks of the River Soar and past the National Space Centre, and is more challenging with combination of woodland and paved paths.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
