The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Norwich Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Norwich Memory Walk will start and finish at the showground fields, next to the Showground Arena, which is accessed via Long Lane (Green Gate) if travelling by car and the Dareham Road (Main Gate) if travelling by foot.

Please note the event site is on grass. Find us using the postcode NR9 3LX, alternatively enter launcher.stumpy.blaze into the What3Words App. Please arrive in good time to avoid queues, and note that parking is on grass

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 2km walk is a gentle stroll around the showground, which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages. This route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance.

The longer 6km walk is a little more challenging, and will take you further across the showground and surrounding fields. This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
