Share advice, laughter, and support at the Cheshire Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. 

The meeting point and route

Cheshire Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at Tatton Park. Please note this area is on grass. Find us using the postcode WA16 6SG, alternatively enter thigh.eclipses.tungsten into the What3Words App.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 2.5km route, this is not wheelchair or pushchairs suitable.

The longer 5km route which goes around Tatton Park is also not wheelchair or pushchair accessible.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.

Travel Information

There is dedicated event parking. Please access the event via the Rostherne entrance only, using postcode WA16 6SG. Upon entry to the estate, please follow event signage and directions from stewards.

Park entrance is free for Memory Walk participants - please come wearing your blue Memory Walk t-shirt or have your booking confirmation email to hand at the gate to allow free entry.

The nearest Railway Station is Knutsford, situated half a mile from the Knutsford Entrance to Tatton Park and then a further two mile walk to the Memory Walk site. For further details visit Trainline.

There is no bus service to the main car park closest to event site, the closest bus stop is a two mile walk to the Memory Walk event site.

The meeting point is on in a grass field. This event is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways, and some muddy, uneven terrain throughout the route.
