The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Bournemouth Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Bournemouth Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at Pier Approach by Bournemouth Observation Wheel. Please note this area is paved. Find us using the postcode BH2 5AA, alternatively enter ruins.sheet.final into the What3Words App.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

A shorter 3.5km route is a gentle stroll along the sea front which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages. This route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance.

The longer 5km route is a little more challenging, and will take you further along Bournemouth sea front.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
