Bromley Well provides free, practical and emotional support for carers to help them increase their resilience, build on existing skills and introduce new ones. Bromley Well also supports carers to look after their own health and wellbeing. Support includes: information, research and guidance; one to one practical and emotional support; help to plan for the future, including emergencies; support people to self identify as a carer and register as a carer with their doctor; support through changes in the caring role; workshops to build resilience, enhance skills, meet others and have fun. Who is this service for?
- Residents of London Borough of Bromley only
- People over 19 who are caring for others, that is someone who, without payment, provides help and support to a friend, neighbour or relative who could not manage otherwise because of frailty, illness or disability. This includes carers of people with dementia.
