Availability: England and Wales

Suitable for: Simple estates

We are able to offer this service for free to Alzheimer’s Society supporters in England and Wales, with no obligation to leave a gift in your Will. However, many of our supporters do choose to recognise Alzheimer’s Society with a gift, in recognition of a cause they care deeply about.

What are the steps?

  1. Complete our online form and we’ll email you a web link that you can use to claim your free Will using Farewill.
  2. Fill out a questionnaire. When you claim your free Will with Farewill, they’ll ask you some simple questions about yourself, your estate and your wishes. Their questionnaire should take around 30 minutes to complete, but you can go at your own pace and come back to it at any time.

Farewill’s specialists will then review your answers to make sure that your wishes are clear and write your Will.

    3. Sign your Will. After Farewill’s specialists write your Will, they’ll send you a copy that you’ll need to print and sign in front of two witnesses (who’ll also need to sign it), to make it legally binding.

You’ll be able to download your Will to print at home through the Farewill website, or request a printed copy in the post.

It was so simple to write my Will with Farewill. The whole thing took less than a quarter of an hour. In terms of the peace of mind it has given me, it was 15 minutes well spent. Considering the money I saved, I was more than happy to leave a gift to Alzheimer’s Society. I’d definitely recommend the service to everyone.
