The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Nottingham Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Nottingham Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site by the lake, behind Wollaton Hall. Please note, this area is on grass. Find us using the What3Words App by entering ///meals.wooden.trails.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 2km route is a gentle stroll around the lake, where you will see the iconic hall once home to Batman in the blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises. This route is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages and for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance.

The longer 6km route is a little more challenging, and will take you around more of the park, including grass and woodland paths where you may see the park’s resident deer. This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
