The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Manchester Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Manchester Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at the the old fairground site. This is beside the lake. Please note, this area is on gravel. Find us using the postcode M25 0DL, alternatively enter ///singer.bend.offer into the What3Words App.

To make sure everyone's included, there are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 2km route is a gentle stroll around the lake which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages.

The longer 5km route is a little more challenging and will take you around this historical park. Both routes are suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance, due to the nature of the pathways. Due to the weather, some parts may be trickier to navigate due to mud.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
