The challenge

Share advice, laughter, and support at the Birmingham Memory Walk. And when you cross the finish line, celebrate with your medal, knowing you have walked for a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.

The meeting point and route

Birmingham Memory Walk will start and finish in the event site at the Jamboree Stone which is located near the centre of the park. Please note, this area is on grass. Find us using the postcode B74 3EW, alternatively enter ///digs.bricks.smooth into the What3Words App.

There are two routes to choose from on the day of Memory Walk.

The shorter 3.5km route is a gentle stroll around the park which is suitable for Memory Walkers of all ages. This route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs with assistance due to a hill along the route.

The longer 5km route is a little more challenging, and will take you around the lakeside, moors and woodlands. The route has some uneven and muddy terrain. This route is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to the nature of the pathways.

Please note the route and distance is subject to change, and suitable footwear is recommended.
