Group and Club Fundraising

Is your sports club, members group or volunteer-led association looking to make a difference? We invite you to bring your members together and help raise vital funds to support people living with dementia.

Why choose Alzheimer's Society?

Every three minutes someone in the world develops dementia.
One in three people in the UK will develop dementia in their lifetime.
We need to make dementia the priority it deserves to be.

How we can support

Alzheimer's Society Regional Fundraisers are here to help make your fundraising a success. Whether you’re planning a big event or something smaller with your group, we can provide inspiration, tips, advice, and all the materials you need. Let’s make it happen and have fun while you’re at it.

Together we can give help and hope for everyone living with dementia.

How your fundraising can help

£500 can provide a Community Dementia Adviser to support someone to live independently.
£1,000 can give access to our vital emotional and practical support programmes.
£10,000 can fund Companion Calls for 4.5 months to help alleviate the isolation of dementia.

Mr. Billy Geary, at 101 years old, is president of the Rotary Club of Belfast East.

He oversaw their incredible fundraising event, raising £11,000 for Alzheimer’s Society. The club were supported with the breakfast event by their Alzheimer’s Society Regional Fundraiser.

Club member David Gibson shared,

Alzheimer’s Society is dear to many of us. We aim to serve and give back to our community. We all know the devastation dementia does to individuals. We know every penny of the £11,000 we raised helps so many.”
