The MHRA has found that lecanemab is a safe and effective treatment for early Alzheimer’s disease. However, it has not been recommended for use on the NHS, which reflects the urgent challenges of how we diagnose and treat people with dementia. More than ever, we need your support.

Despite this setback for this particular drug, this remains a historic moment for Alzheimer’s disease research and we must make the most of this momentum. A donation today could help fund critical research to improve diagnosis and find groundbreaking treatments for people with dementia.

More still needs to be done

We urgently need to invest in more research to improve early diagnosis rates so more people can benefit from new treatments, as well as researching treatments for other types of dementia. Donate today and help end the devastation caused by dementia.
