The Forget me not Appeal is our annual, flagship appeal. Its purpose is to create a special moment each year, when everyone comes together to honour and remember people affected by dementia.
Wearing a Forget me not Appeal pin badge shows people affected by dementia that they’re not alone and that you care. Supporting the appeal also helps to provide urgent support to people living with dementia, as well as funding groundbreaking research to build on recent breakthroughs. You could wear your badge in honour of a loved one, in someone’s memory or in support of everyone living with dementia. Whoever you wear your badge for, you will be showing everyone how vital it is that dementia receives the attention it deserves.
When you donate to the Appeal, our team will send your Forget me not Appeal pin badge out to you in the post, starting in April. To save on postage costs, we send badges out every other day which can then take up to five working days for Royal Mail to deliver.
We’ll get your badge to you as soon as possible but this can take between three and seven working days, depending on how quickly it’s delivered by Royal Mail.
There are many ways that you can further support the Appeal. For example you can:
