Pros and cons:
Useful for:
- learning about the experience people with dementia, and their carers, have of using your website, phone app, or discussion forum, or products for use in health and care services.
- It's especially used for digital user experience. It is especially used when seeking quantitative data ("The number of people who...", "How many clicks...", "How long it took to...").
Downsides and risks: it requires specialist training and, usually, laboratory conditions.
Cost: May be expensive - it usually happens in a laboratory.
