Our benefits
Working at Alzheimer's Society, you'll make a real difference to people's lives. Add to that our attractive rewards and benefits package and you’ll understand why there has never been a better time to join us.
Wellbeing at work
Helping you stay healthy and caring about your wellbeing is important to us.
We provide a number of ways to support your wellbeing including a Cash Health Plan and Employee Assistance Programme.
Our specialist occupational health provider also gives guidance and advice about health issues employees may have.
Work/Life balance
We offer a generous 27 days of annual leave plus bank holidays each year, increasing to 30 over time.
We’ve also made most of our bank holidays flexible. This means that if a bank holiday falls on what would be a normal working day, colleagues can choose to work this and take another day off instead (for all except 25/26 December and 1 January, where we are all away from work).
Our Family Friendly policies are designed to support our employees with their family commitments. If you're eligible for statutory maternity, adoption and paternity pay, we'll top that up to full pay for 16 weeks. We also have initiatives around ‘our ways of working’ including flexible working.
Long-term benefits
We support and reward our employees’ loyalty now and for the future. We match Pension contributions up to 8% and offer a Life Assurance Scheme.
Additional benefits
Employees can take advantage of our Employee Discount Scheme which saves you money at hundreds of high street stores. We also offer an interest free Bike Loan Scheme of up to £1000 and an interest free season ticket loan, repaid directly from your salary each month.
Employee forum
Our Employee Forum is an effective way for employees to contribute their experiences, views and opinions towards the development of the Society.
Recognising our people
Our People Awards are a chance for us to celebrate the incredible contributions our people make through their work and volunteering.
Our loyalty recognition programme seeks to recognise the loyalty and continued contribution of the Society's longer serving employees and volunteers.
