Anna Richardson and her father

What is the documentary about?

We’ve worked with Channel 4 on a documentary called Anna Richardson: Love, Loss and Dementia to show how and why dementia is the nation’s forgotten crisis.

In a bid to inspire change and help tackle our generation’s biggest health crisis, Anna Richardson has decided to tell her dementia story and the battle her family has faced with her father’s vascular dementia.

Embarking on a nationwide journey to learn more, Anna will meet other families living with dementia throughout the documentary, hearing their stories and struggles with the disease.

With startling honesty, Anna explores the devastating truth of living with dementia, the love, life and loss, confronting the myths and social taboos surrounding the disease, and the revolutionary new drugs, which give hope for the future.
