Santander UK employees have raised more than £1 million for the company’s national charity partners Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland by taking part in fundraising events such as Memory Walk, Cupcake Day, It’s a Knockout and Elf Day since the partnership began in 2019.

Carey Mulligan, Jonathan Pryce CBE and Vicky McClure have completed their own Memory Walks for Alzheimer’s Society to support people affected by dementia, worst hit by coronavirus crisis.

Alzheimer’s Society Ambassador and famous choreographer Arlene Phillips CBE spoke and danced with former dance teacher Julie, who is living with dementia, to highlight the importance of keeping active.

The Grammy nominated DJ and musician, Naughty Boy, takes part in Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walk, after his mother was diagnosed with dementia.
